On 7/08/19 at approximately 2 a.m. an observant Mesquite Police Officer was patrolling a residential area when he observed a suspicious male walking down the street carrying a cash register drawer. When the male saw the marked police car he attempted to hide the drawer and walk away from the area. Due to these suspicious actions, the officer stopped the male to investigate.
