Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. The Mesquite Fire Department received 54 calls this week.

Feb. 23:
Falls: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of a fallen victim. Patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional for further medical care.
Falls: Rescue 31 responded to the reports of a fallen victim. Person was assisted back into bed and refused further medical treatment and transport to the hospital.
Feb. 24:
MVA with Injury: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident. One person was treated and transported to Mesa View Hospital.
Fuel Spill: Engine 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the report of a disabled vehicle leaking fluids. One vehicle was located, fluids contained, and vehicle was towed from the scene.
Feb. 25:
Psychiatric: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of a possible psychiatric
person. Patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional.
Breathing: Rescue 31, Rescue 32, and Batallion 3 responded to reports of a person having
difficulty breathing. Rescue 31 treated and transported the
person to Mesa View Regional for further treatment and evaluation.
Feb. 26:
Chest Pain: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to reports of a person with chest pain.
Rescue 11 treated and transported the patient to Mesa View Regional for further treatment and evaluation.
Patient Transport: Rescue 33 responded to an Inter-facility Transport. Rescue 33 transported to Dixie Regional.
Feb. 27:
Sick Person: Rescue 11 responded to reports of a sick person. One patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to reports of an unconscious person. One
patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Feb. 28:
Fire Investigation: Engine 31 and Engine 11 responded to a report of an A/C Unit Fire at an apartment complex. The fire was out on arrival. The electrical power was disconnected until the unit could be repaired.
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the report of a person who had fallen and was having difficulty breathing. One person was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Feb. 29:
Diabetic: Rescue 31 responded to the reports of a possible diabetic emergency. Patient was
treated and transported to Mesa View Regional for further medical care.
Sick Person: Rescue 32 and Engine 31 responded to a sick person at Wedges bar and grill.
Rescue canclled after no medical was needed and the person was transported home by private car.
