Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. The Mesquite Fire Department received 63 calls this week.

Dec. 22:
Cardiac Arrest: Rescues 11 and 12 and Engine 31 responded to a report of a cardiac arrest. One
patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Stroke (CVA): Rescues 31 and 32 responded to a report of a stroke. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Dec. 23:
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 12 responded to the reports of a person having difficulty breathing. Patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional for further medical assessment.
Fire: Engine 31 was dispatched to a possible brush fire. Upon investigation fire was a controlled burn.
Dec. 24:
Psychiatric: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of a possible psychiatric person. Patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional.
Breathing: Rescue 31, Rescue 32, and Battalion 3 responded to reports of a person having
difficulty breathing. Rescue 31 treated and transported the person to Mesa View Regional for further treatment and evaluation.
Dec. 25:
Abdominal Pain: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to reports of a person with abdominal pain.
Rescue 11 treated and transported the patient to Mesa View Regional for further treatment and evaluation.
Patient Transport: Rescue 33 responded to an Inter-facility Transport. Rescue 33 transported to Dixie Regional.
Dec. 26:
Sick Person: Rescue 11 was dispatched out for a sick person. Patient was transported to Mesa
View Reginal Hospital.
Abdominal Pain: Rescue 11 was dispatched out for a person with abdominal pain. Patient was transported to Mesa View Reginal Hospital.
Dec. 27:
Fire Investigation: Engine 31 and Engine 11 responded to a report of an A/C Unit Fire at an
apartment complex. The fire was out on arrival. The electrical power was disconnected until the unit could be repaired.
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the report of a person who had fallen and was having difficulty breathing. One person was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Dec. 28:
Sick Person: Rescue 11 responded to a report of a sick person. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Hospital.
Breathing: Rescue 11, Rescue 32 and Batation 3 responded to the reports of a person having
difficulty breathing. Patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional for further medical care.
