Many calls that the Police Department receives are not always included in the blotter, as they are under investigation or a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our PD does do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 212 calls this week:

Dec. 29:

Traffic Accident w/ Injuries: Officers responded to a one vehicle accident. One male adult was issued a

citation.

Dead Body: Officers were called to a local residence reference a welfare check and observed the person to be deceased. The death did not appear suspicious, and the Clark County Coroner’s Office was notified to take over the investigation.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle: Officer took a report of a recovered stolen vehicle out of Las Vegas Metro Police Department. The investigation is ongoing.

Lost Property: An officer responded to the police department lobby and took a report of lost

property.

Dec. 30:

*EMS* Abnormal behavior: One adult female was admitted to the hospital for evaluation.

Traffic Stop: Officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested one male for a moving violation.

Domestic Trouble: Officer responded to a report of a past domestic battery. Report was taken and and a written statement was completed by the victim.

Property Damage, Non-Vandalism: Officer responded to a report of property damage.

Suspicious vehicle: Officers responded to a local gaming hall for a report of a suspicious vehicle with two occupants. Upon arrival the occupants were identified, and one had an outstanding warrant out of Mesquite Municipal court. The individual was arrested on said warrant without any further incident. There were no additional charges made in this case.

Dec.31:

Theft: Officers responded to a residence and took a report of a burglary. This investigation is still ongoing.

Suspicious Person: Officer took a report of a suspicious person who appeared to have been injured.

Officers requested Mesquite Fire to respond to evaluate the subject. Subject was

transported to Mesa View Hospital for treatment.

Lost Property: Officer responded to report of lost property.

Traffic Stop: Police arrested a male adult for a felony warrant out of another jurisdiction.

Traffic Stop: An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense.  The driver, an adult male

subject was taken into custody for DUI-Alcohol (1st offense) and other traffic offenses.

Traffic Stop: An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Officers observed the driver might be impaired. A DUI investigation was conducted, and the driver was arrested for DUI.

Jan. 1, 2020:

Dead Body: Officers responded to a residence in reference to an agency assist. One adult male was found deceased inside his home.

Hit & Run: Officers took a report for an alleged hit and run that occurred overnight in a casino parking lot.

Traffic Stop: A female adult was arrested for a driving under the influence, first offense.

Traffic Stop: Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The male driver was arrested on an active warrant.

Lost Property: Officers took a report of lost property.

Jan. 2:

Suspicious Vehicle: Officers arrested an adult male for multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance and multiple firearm related offenses.

 

Theft from Vehicle: Officers responded to a theft from a vehicle on Day Break Ln. During the investigation one adult male and one adult female were arrested for burglary and other related offenses.

Wanted Person: A female adult was arrested for an active warrant.

Domestic Trouble: Officers were dispatched to a local residence, in reference to a domestic battery.  An adult male subject was later charged for domestic battery (1st offense).

Jan. 3:

Domestic Violence: Officers responded to a domestic situation, one female was arrested for breach of peace.

Theft: Officers responded to a local business on a reported theft case. Information was gathered for an initial report.

Trespassing: An officer was dispatched to a local casino, in reference to a trespass.  An

intoxicated adult male subject was taken into custody for trespassing.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officers responded to a single vehicle accident with no injuries. A report was completed.

Found Property: Officers responded to a call of female who was given vehicle keys from an

unknown male. Officers contacted the owner of the keys and advised her how to retrieve your keys. Nothing further.

Death Investigation: A Detective followed up on a suspicious death reported by MFD.

Jan. 4:

Trespassing: An officer was dispatched to a local casino, in reference to a trespass.  An intoxicated adult male subject was taken into custody for trespassing.

Property Damage, Non-Vandalism: Officers responded to a commercial parking lot and took a report of property damage. This investigation is still ongoing.

Found Property: Officer responded to retrieve found property.

Theft from Vehicle: Officers responded to a residence and took a report of a theft from vehicle.
