Currently, the only American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) sanctioned duplicate bridge game in Mesquite has been held on Fridays at 11 am at the First Baptist Church.  Beginning on Monday, January 6, however, a second choice will be available to avid duplicate bridge players.  The new game will be directed by Earl Peterson every Monday at 11 am at the First Baptist Church, 700 Hardy Way, Mesquite.  Bridge players can earn points toward various Life Master designations, which are awarded only in ACBL-sanctioned games across the country. St. George has ACBL-sanctioned games at least six days a week.  Many of their residents play multiple times a week to earn points when they win or rank highly in games.  Now Mesquite residents and visitors of Mesquite who enjoy the challenge of the game will have two choices each week: Monday at 11 am and Friday at 11 am.

Players need only show up about a half hour before the game begins, with or without a partner.  They will be paired with another player if they have no partner.   Any questions may be directed to 702.217.5005.
