Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 39 calls this week:

July 21:

Abdominal pain: Rescue 31 responded to the reports of a person having severe abdominal pain. Patient was transported to local hospital.

Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to the reports of a person having difficulty breathing. Patient was transported to local hospital.

July 22:

Convulsions: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of a person having convulsions. Patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Sick person: Rescue 11 responded to reports of sick person. One patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

July 23:

Unconscious: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of an unconscious person. Patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital for further medical treatment.

July 24:

Diabetic: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 dispatched for the report of a diabetic problem. Rescue 11 assisted diabetic patient, patient signed out against medical advice.

Trauma: Rescue 32 dispatched to assist with the removal of a ring. Rescue 32 removed a ring from an elderly female.

July 25:

Trauma: Rescue 31 responded to a report of a Traumatic Injury. One patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Citizen assist:  Rescue 32 and Engine 31 responded on a public assist smoke detector malfunction.

July 26:

Falls:  Rescue 32 and Truck 31 responded to report of a fall victim. One patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Unconscious: Rescue 11 responded to report of an unconscious person. One patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

July 27:

Choking:  Rescue 11 responded to report of choking. Patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Assault/Sex Assault: Rescue 31 responded to a report of an assault but was cancelled en route to call.
