Many calls that the Police Department receives are not always included in the blotter, as they are under investigation or a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our PD does do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 158 calls this week:

Aug. 26:
Wanted person: Responded to report of possible trespass. Subject was not trespassed but did have outstanding warrant.
Verbal disturbance: An adult male was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of the Las Vegas
Justice Court.
Hit & Run: Officer took a report of a hit and run.
Battery on person: Officers responded to a W. Pioneer Blvd. business in reference to a fight, one male adult was cited for battery and disturbing the peace.
Theft from vehicle: Officers were called to investigate a theft from vehicle call at an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino.
Aug. 27:
Domestic trouble: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. convenience store reference a suspicious call. Contact was made with a female who reported a domestic battery incident. The suspect had left the area prior to officer’s arrival and the investigation is ongoing.
Found property: Took possession of an abandoned bike.
Fraud: Officer took a report of fraud.
Agency assistance: Officer took courtesy report for LVMPD regarding theft.
Lost property: Officer took a report of lost property.
Controlled substance problem: Assisted courts with suspected narcotic use.
Aug. 28:
Suspicious Person/Circumstance: Officer took report of unknown adult male on Casa Grande Cir asking children if they needed a ride. Officer searched the area for older grey sedan which was GOA; Report taken.
Fraud: An officer received a report of a fraudulent use of a debit card.
Aug. 29:
Property damage, non-vandalism: Officers responded to a Tuscany Cir. residence reference a vandalism call. The complainant did not want to pursue charges but wanted the incident documented.
Aug. 30:
Battery on person: Mesquite Officer responded to a local school reference a report of battery. The investigation is still ongoing.
Wanted person: Officers observed a male in a Mesa Blvd. casino parking lot believed to have a felony warrant out of the Mesquite Justice Court. Upon making contact with the male it was determined the male had a confirmed warrant. The male was taken into custody without incident.
Traffic stop: Officers conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation. One female was taken into custody for a local misdemeanor warrant.
Suspicious person: Officers were contacted about an adult male regarding whether he was allowed to be on school property. The male did not have any current restrictions.
Aug. 31:
Child abuse or neglect: Officers responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. hotel on a report of a small child who was looking for his mother. After an investigation, two additional children were located unattended in a hotel room. The mother was later located and arrested for abuse or neglect of a child.
Miscellaneous CAD call record: An officer responded to the lobby in reference to a citizen assist.
Traffic stop: Officers conducted a traffic stop for a traffic offense. One female was taken into custody for driving under the influence of marijuana.
Trespassing: Officers responded to a Mesa Blvd. business on a report of an intoxicated male trespassing.
The male was located and issued a citation for trespassing.
Traffic stop: An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver, an adult female subject, was taken into custody for a local misdemeanor warrant and a traffic violation.
Domestic violence: Officers were dispatched to a Hafen Ln. address, in reference to a domestic in progress. An adult male subject was taken into custody for domestic battery (1st offense).
Trespassing: Officers were dispatched to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino, in reference to a trespass. An adult male subject was taken into custody for a local misdemeanor warrant.
Domestic violence: Officers responded to a Palos Verdes Dr. residence for a report of an intoxicated male who was destroying things in the residence. The make was arrested for Domestic Battery.
Sept. 1:
Fighting: An officer was dispatched to a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino, in reference to a fight in progress. While in route, the two subjects involved in the fight fled the scene in a vehicle. The vehicle was stopped on a local street. One adult male was taken into custody for open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. One adult male was taken into custody for a local misdemeanor warrant.
Domestic trouble: Officers were dispatched to a Mesquite Springs Dr. address, in reference to a domestic battery.
Minor possessing: Officers responded to I15 for a report of a vehicle that was driving all over the road. Officers located the vehicle. One male was arrested for minor in consumption of alcohol.
Traffic accident w/o injury: Two vehicle collision in barking lot with no injuries. Drivers exchange form completed by VR security.
Burglary: Report of possible theft, no forced entry observed.
Suspicious person: An officer responded to a local residence in reference to a missing scooter. The scooter was located.

DUI: A detective conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for multiple moving violations. The adult male driver was arrested for DUI and multiple traffic offenses.
Welfare check: Officer responded to a welfare check. A male adult was arrested for two warrants out of Mesquite Municipal Court.
Theft: Report of cash being taken from self-check out register.
Traffic accident w/o injury: Officer completed an accident report.
Theft: Officer completed a theft report.
DUI: An officer conducted a traffic stop for a violation. The male driver was arrested for DUI 1st offense.
Lost property: Officer completed a lost property report.
