Someone is trying to destroy America by burdening us, our children and grandchildren with an enormous debt of supporting millions of illegal immigrants that President Obama has granted legal status to. But why should he care as the cost will only come due after he leaves office.

Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation told the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee two weeks ago that” the lifetime costs of Social Security and Medicare benefits paid to the millions of immigrants to whom Obama is granting legal status will be about $1.3 trillion”.

That is based on the calculation that only about 4 million will receive benefits under “Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents” (DAPA). They will also be able to claim tax refunds for the last 3 years even if they didn’t pay taxes or used a false Social Security number. This was confirmed by IRS Commissioner John Koskinen, who told Congress just that on Feb. 11, this is incredible. How can one man, even if he is President burden us with such a debt?

At the recent Town Hall meeting, here in Mesquite, with our state representatives Chris Edwards and Joe Hardy it was revealed that about 6,000 new students will be entering Nevada schools the coming year and by federal law we must educate them. Just think, they will need at least 4 new schools just to house them, new teachers and materials. These are kids that are being encouraged to come here from Central America and they are in addition to the DAPA debit.

Those 6,000 kids are only the kids in Nevada schools. Think how this plays out nationwide. Some may say these kids will become hard workers but the facts show something different, the average DAPA-eligible family is already receiving about $6,600 a year in means-tested welfare benefits. That includes food stamps, school lunch, Medicaid, the State Children’s Health Insurance Program and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children. The fact is most welfare benefits go to households with children headed by a low-income employed adult.

Look at California to see what Nevada will become, the Hispanic population is now almost equal to the white population, and almost 50% of babies born in California are Hispanic. The book a few years ago describe it completely “Mexifornia” but now it’s happing to Nevada and the rest of the country. Now most of us do not resent hard working people coming to America but overwhelming the system with to much at once is an attempt to destroy the system.

The two factors that Americans are most concerned about are jobs and voter fraud. The U.S. has accepted two new immigrants for each additional job created since 2000, according to federal data, and expert witnesses have testified that once immigrants are given Social Security numbers and driver’s licenses, there will be no way to stop them from registering to vote. Guess what party they will vote for?

Jobs are a great concern but these new people, who do decide to work, take jobs away from American citizens. Those that don’t work take money away from those few of us who do work.  Most working people should be able to decide where their money goes, to feed their families or someone who just broke our laws and snuck into our house and now expect us to support them.
