On Tuesday, January 20, Mesquite police officers were called to a local residence, reference a battery with a deadly weapon. At the home, officers located a male adult victim who had been attacked. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to the local hospital.
At the same residence, officers located five suspects who were involved in the battery. Following an execution of a search warrant; narcotics paraphernalia, marijuana, methamphetamine, and a hand gun were discovered inside the residence. The investigation resulted in all five individuals being arrested and charged with felonies.
Mesquite resident, Sirena Abbott, 34, was charged with: kidnapping with a deadly weapon, burglary, robbery, intimidating a witness and sales of a controlled substance; methamphetamine.
Mesquite resident, Michael Brannigan, 38, was charged with: kidnapping with a deadly weapon, burglary, robbery, intimidating a witness and battery with a deadly weapon.
Mesquite resident, Christopher Mora, 40, was charged with: kidnapping with a deadly weapon, burglary, robbery, intimidating a witness and battery with a deadly weapon.
Mesquite resident, Jeffrey Hillier, 37, was charged with: kidnapping with a deadly weapon, burglary, robbery, intimidating a witness and battery with a deadly weapon.
Mesquite resident, Katherine Pohlmeier, 31, was charged with: kidnapping with a deadly weapon, burglary, robbery, and intimidating a witness.
All five perpetrators were booked into Clark County Detention Center, located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
