FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mesquite, NV — The Virgin Valley Theatre Group (VVTG) is pleased to announce its 2026 Fundraising Gala, A Night on the Orient Express, an elegant theatre-inspired evening celebrating the launch of the organization’s upcoming season and supporting its mission to bring live theatre and youth programming to the Virgin Valley community.

The gala will take place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Casablanca Resort & Casino. Guests are invited to step into the glamour and intrigue of the 1920s and 1930s, with classic travel-era or evening attire encouraged.

Inspired by VVTG’s 2026 season opener, Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, the evening will feature a chef-prepared plated dinner, with entrée selections including Filet Mignon or Chicken Piccata. In addition, attendees will enjoy a special mystery-themed theatrical vignette created exclusively for the gala, offering a playful nod to the iconic story’s suspense and romance.

Highlights of the evening include a Season Reveal and Vision Presentation, where guests will hear exciting announcements about the upcoming production lineup, long-term artistic goals, and strategic developments shaping the future of Virgin Valley Theatre Group. The event will also feature a raffle with exclusive prizes, with proceeds directly supporting VVTG’s programs and community outreach efforts.

Tickets are $100 per person, and advance reservations are required. Guests are asked to reserve their seats and submit dinner selections ahead of time.
