Dec. 22:

Threatening: Officers responded to a residence and took a report on threats and found

property.

Theft: An officer gathered information on report of theft.

Citizen Assist: An officer stopped to assist a motorist stranded in the middle of the roadway. The officer observed signs of impairment in the driver and conducted field sobriety tests. The adult female driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on revoked license, and resisting arrest.

Dec. 23:

Trespassing: Officers responded to a trespass incident at a casino. One adult male was arrested for a felony warrant out of Arizona.

Hit & Run: Officers responded to a bank’s parking lot and took a report of a hit and run.

Theft: Officer responded to a report of damage to a mailbox. Information gathered and incident number provided to Postmaster.

Theft: Officers responded to the Mesquite Police Department and took a report of a

burglary.

Domestic Trouble: Officers responded to report of a domestic battery. One male was arrested.

Transport: Officers transported one male adult to CCDC without any incident.

Dec. 24:

Theft: Officer responded to a business on a report of a theft. A report was completed.

DUI: Officers responded to report of a suspected DUI. One male was arrested.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officers responded to an accident between a vehicle and a pedestrian on a bicycle. The driver was issued a citation.

Weapon Offense: Officers responded to a business on a report of a weapons offence. One adult

male was placed under arrest for drawing a weapon.

Dec. 25:

Mental Person: Officers responded to a residence in reference to a person having mental issues. One female was taken to the hospital for a mental evaulation.

*EMS* Animal Bites/Attacks: Officers responded to an animal bite. One dog was transported to the animal shelter and a report completed.

Fighting: Officers responded to a casino and took a report of a fight.

Dec. 26:

Background Investigation: A Detective completed a City of Mesquite mobile food vendor license background investigation.

Traffic Stop: Officers arrested an adult male for possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Weapon Offense: Officers responded to a weapons offense. Information was gathered and an initial report was completed.

Hit & Run: Officers responded to a casino in reference to a hit and run. The driver of the vehicle which fled the scene was located and cited for failure to report an accident.

Dec. 27:

Wanted Person: Officers located a male at a casino with an active warrant. The male was arrested on the warrant.

Traffic Stop: Officers located a male with a warrant out of the Mesquite Municipal Court. The

male was arrested on the warrant.

Person on Foot: Officer arrested a male adult for an active warrant.

Theft: Officers responded to a grocery store reference a theft in progress. One adult male was later arrested for two counts of petit larceny.

Agency Assistance: Officers took a report of illegal dumping of hazardous materials.

Dec. 28:

Suspicious Person: Officers responded to a suspicious call, one female was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
