Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. The Mesquite Fire Department received 42 calls this week.

Nov. 11:
Unconscious: Rescue 31 responded to an unconscious person. One patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
MVA with Injury: Rescue 32 and Battalion 3 responded to reports of an Auto Vs. Pedestrian. One patient
was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Nov. 12:
Chest Pain: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 dispatched to a patient experiencing chest pain. R11 arrived and treated the patient. Rescue 11 cancelled Rescue 32
and transported the patient to Mesa View Regional for further evaluation.
Fire Alarm: Engine 31 and Rescue 31 dispatched to a fire alarm activation. Engine 31 and Rescue 31 arrived and determined the smoke detector to be operating incorrectly. No smoke or fire found at the structure.
Nov. 14:
Stroke (CVA): Rescue 31 responded to a report of a stroke. One patient was transferred to
Mercy Air for transport to Dixie Regional Medical Center.
Fire Alarm: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to a report of an active fire alarm at a local residence. During investigation it was found that there was no fire, and it was not a fire alarm that had activated. No emergency.
Nov. 15:
Fire Alarm: Engine 31, Rescue 11, 31 and 32 responded to a local business for a smoke detector activation. Alarm malfunction identified as cause.
MVA with Injury: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident. All occupants deny injury or medical assessment.
Nov. 16:
Hemorrhage: Rescue 31 responded to reports of a Hemorrhage. 1 patient signed against medical advice.
MVA with Injury: Engine 31, Rescue 31 and Rescue 11 responded to reports of a MVA with injuries.
Engine 31 arrived and found occupant of vehicle was deceased.
Freeway was reduced to 1 lane of traffic and Scene was turned over to MPD
and NHP.
