The Virgin Valley High School Bulldogs overcame a late start Wednesday Oct. 2 against Doral Academy giving up a quick goal before getting their offense into gear with precise passing and team work to free up freshman Scott Trimming for three goals. Bulldog David Baltazar found Trimming twice in the first half assisting on the Trimming Hat Trick (3 Goals). The Bulldogs asserted defensive pressure shutting down the Charter School with zero shots on goal.

The Dawgs continued their pressure into the second period pushing the ball up field until Rivaldo Chavez a free kick into the back of the net from 20 yards out. The Dawgs continued to spread the field setting up Trimming on a cross from Erik Solario, Trimming’s shot hit nothing but net. “We are playing great soccer as the season goes on,” said asst. coach Jhonaton Pantelakis. “We are happy for the kids who have embraced their capacity to play well. The Dawgs will host Moapa Valley on Monday Oct. 7 and Sky Pointe on Oct. 11 hoping to continue their run to the playoffs.
