Many calls that the Police Department receives are not always included in the blotter, as they are under investigation or a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our PD does do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 13 calls this week. Due to IT issues this is an incomplete report:

Aug. 6:

Person on Foot: Officer issued three juvenile females a citation for minor consuming alcohol and

park curfew. All three juveniles were released to their guardians and provided a

court date.

Controlled Substance Problem: Officers responded to a suspicious call. Officers arrested a male and female adult for possession of methamphetamine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia.

Domestic Violence:  Officers responded to a Sun Valley Dr. address on a reported domestic incident. One female was arrested on related charges.

Driving Under the Influence: Officers responded to a minor vehicle accident in the parking lot of a local

casino. One female was arrested without incident.

Aug. 7:

Domestic Trouble: Officers responded to a residence reference a domestic. One adult male was arrested for domestic battery.

Wanted Person: I stopped to assist a male whose vehicle was disabled in the parking lot of KFC.  I conducted a record check through dispatch and learned there was an active warrant for the male’s arrest.  I confirmed the originating agency would extradite and placed the male under arrest for the misdemeanor warrant.

Aug. 8

Threatening: I responded to a harassment call regarding unwanted text messages.  I advised

the female to apply for a protective order against her ex-boyfriend.

Aug. 9:

Suspicious Person: An officer responded to a business reference a call of a suspicious female sleeping on property. The female was arrested for a local warrant.

Minor Gambling: I responded to a local casino regarding underage gambling.  One male was placed under arrest for a warrant, trespassing, and minor gambling.

Controlled Substance Problem: responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle. Two adult males, and one female was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia.

Aug. 10:

Wanted Person: An officer observed a male at a restaurant with a local warrant. The male was

arrested for the warrant.
