Many calls that the Police Department receives are not always included in the blotter, as they are under investigation or a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our PD does do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 62 calls this week. Due to IT issues this is an incomplete report:

July 28:
Missing Person: Officers assisted in locating a missing elderly couple.
Traffic Accident w/ Injuries: Report taken of two vehicle accident no injury.
Traffic accident W/O injury: took a report of a traffic accident. The driver of vehicle one was
cited for follow too close.
Theft: responded to a Riverside Rd. residence and completed a theft report.
Agency Assistance: attempted to contact the victim of a Domestic Violence. Officers were
unable to locate the female.
Domestic Violence: Officers responded to a local casino for a report of a physical altercation
between a male and female. Upon investigation the male was arrested for domestic battery.
Wanted Person: Officer responded to a local residence on a reported harassment. One male was
taken into custody for outstanding warrants for his arrest.
July 29:
Domestic Violence: Officers responded to a domestic incident at a local residence. Contact needs to
be made with the second party.
Suspicious Person: Officer was contacted by a resident who advised an unknown adult male was
walking his dog while in the nude. Officer will attempt to locate
Assault/Battery: Officers took a report of assault that occurred 07/27/2019. The complainant will follow up this week if he wants to pursue charges against the perpetrator.
Fraud: Officers responded to a fraud report at a business. Information was gathered for a follow up investigation.
Person on Foot: Officers observed a female walk in the cross walk while the red stop hand was flashing. Officers arrested the female for obstruction, and the traffic violation.
Wanted Person: Officers located a male with active warrants out of Mesquite Municipal Court.
One male was placed under arrest and transported to the detention center without incident.
Trespassing: Officer responded to a local residence where the mother was having a verbal dispute with her son over him being intoxicated. The son refused to leave and was arrested for trespass violation.
Theft from Vehicle: Officers responded to a Turtle Cove residence on a theft from a vehicle. No suspect is identified at this time.
