Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 21 calls this week from July 28-30; due to IT issues, this is an incomplete report:

July 28:

MVA with Injury: Engine 31 and Rescue 31 responded to the reports of a motor vehicle accident. Patient was treated and refused transport to the hospital.

Stroke (CVA): Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of a person having a possible stroke. Patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

July 29:

Diabetic: Rescue 11 responded to a report of a Diabetic Problem. Patient refused transport to a hospital and signed out against medical advice.

Convulsions: Rescue 32 and Engine 31 responded to a person having a seizure. One patient transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center in St George, UT.

Allergies/Sting: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a report of an allergic reaction. One patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Chest Pain: Rescue 32 and Engine 31 responded to a person having chest pain. One patient refused medical advice to be transported to a hospital.

July 30:

Falls: Rescues 32 and 11 responded to a report of a fall from a golf cart. One patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Patient Transport: Rescue 31 provided an interfacility patient transport from Mesa View Regional Hospital to Dixie Regional Medical Center in St George, UT.

Abdominal Pain: Rescue 11 responded to a report of Abdominal Pain. Patient refused transport to a hospital and signed out against medical advice.

Falls: Rescue 31 responded to a report of a fall. Ona patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
