Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 54 calls this week:

March 31:
Falls: Rescue 11 dispatched to the report of a fall. One person was transported to the local hospital.
Breathing: Rescue 11 and 31 responded to report of breathing problems. Rescue 11 transported one patient to a local hospital with Rescue 31 personnel on board.
April 1:
MVA with Injury: Rescue 31 and Engine 31 and Chief 2 were dispatched to the report of a traffic accident. One person was transported to St. George local hospital.
Chest pain: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 dispatched to the report of chest pain. One person was transported to the local hospital.
April 2:
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to a report of a person who has fallen and cant get up. Lift assist only. No medical patient.
Fire: Engines 31, Engine 11, and Rescue 31 responded to a reported fire near a parking structure. On arrival it was found to not be a fire, but a maintenance company performing service of fire extinguishers.
April 3:
Overdose: Rescues 11 and 32 responded to report of an overdose. Rescue 11 transported one
patient to a local hospital.
Unconscious: Rescue 11 responded to report of an unconscious person. Rescue 11 transported one patient to a local hospital.
April 4:
Sick person: Rescue 31 was dispatched out for a sick person. Patient signed against medical advise form.
Sick person: Rescue 11 was dispatched out for a sick person. Patient was transported to our local hospital.
April 5:
Heart problem: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of a person having heart
problems. One patient was treated and transported to local hospital.
Heart problem: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of a person having heart
problems. Person was treated and refused transport to local hospital.
April 6:
Fire Investigation: Engines 31, 11, and Rescue 31 responded to a report of a smell of smoke in a residence. No fire found on arrival.
Sick person: Rescue 31 responded to a report of a sick person. One patient was transported to
the local hospital.
