Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 76 calls this week:

March 10:
Sick person: Rescue 11 responded to report of a sick person. One patient was transported to a St George area hospital.
Brush fire: Engine 31 and 11 responded to report of a brush fire. After attempting to locate in the area no smoke or fire was found.
March 11:
Fire alarm: Engine 31 and Rescue 11 responded to report of a fire alarm. On arrival a bad battery was found in a smoke detector.
Patient transport: Rescue 31 responded to a local hospital for a Critical Care Patient Transport to a St George area hospital.
March 12:
Stroke (CVA): Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a reported stroke victim. One patient was transported to local hospital.
Inaccessible: Rescue 31, Engine 31 and Chief 2 responded to reports of people stuck in an elevator. Elevator rescue was successful with no injuries.
March 13:
Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 dispatched to the report of an unconscious person. One person was transported to the local hospital.
Heart problem: Rescue 31 and Battalion 3 dispatched to the report of heart problems. One person was transported to St George area hospital.
March 14:
Breathing: Rescue 31 and Battalion 3 responded to a report of a breathing problem. One patient was transported to the local hospital.
Cardiac arrest: Rescue 11, Rescue 32, and Battalion 3 responded to a cardiac arrest. One patient was transported to the local hospital.
March 15:
Falls: Rescue 11 & 12 responded to a report of a female who had fallen and is confused. One patient transported to a local hospital.
Hemorrhage: Rescue 11 & 12 responded to report of a person bleeding and vomiting. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
March 16:
Heart problem: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to reports of a person in cardiac arrest. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
Hemorrhage: Rescue 11 and rescue 31 called for mutual aid for Beaver Dam for a person complaining of head trauma. Engine 31 was cancelled before arriving on scene. The person refused medical attention. Rescue 11 available.
