Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 43 calls this week:

Dec. 16:
Abdominal pain: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to report of an individual with abdominal pain. On arrival individual advised that he did not want medical assistance.
MVA with injury: Rescue 11, Rescue 32, and Engine 31 responded to report of a motor vehicle accident on I-15 south bound mile marker 116. After driving south bound past mile marker 106 and north bound back to town there were no findings.
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to report of an individual with breathing problems. Rescue 11 transported one patient to a local hospital with Rescue 32 personnel on board.
Dec. 17:
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to a fall victim. One person was assisted.
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to report of an individual having difficulty breathing. Rescue 11 transported one patient to a local hospital.
Dec. 18:
Animal problem: Rescue 31 responded to a possible animal bite victim. One person was assessed and person signed refusal to treatment form.
Vehicle fire: Engine 31 responded to a call for a car fire. Car fire was extinguished prior to the arrival of Engine 31. Engine 31 was placed back into service.
Dec. 19:
Hemorrhage: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded for a person bleeding. Patient transported to local hospital.
Convulsions: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 dispatched to the report of convulsions. One person was transported to the local hospital.
Dec. 20:
Unconscious: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 and Rescue 11 dispatched to the report of an unconscious person. One person was transported to the local hospital.
Fire alarm: Rescue 32 and Engine 31 dispatched to the report of a fire alarm. Fire alarm malfunction was found, alarm batteries were changed. No fire or hazards found.
Dec. 21:
Unconscious: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to report of an unconscious person. Rescue 31 transported one patient to a local hospital.
Convulsions: Rescue 32 responded to report of convulsions. Beaver Dam
Fire Department provided aid and also responded. Patient signed out against medical advice.
Dec. 22:
Sick person: Rescue 11 responded to report of a sick person. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
Abdominal pain: Rescue 11 responded to a local nursing facility on report of an individual with abdominal pain. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
