March 26:

Intoxicated person: Officers responded to an intoxicated male at the wrong address on Reber Dr.  Male had fallen and injured himself, and was transported by paramedics to the hospital for evaluation.

Suspicious Person/Circumstance: An officer was dispatched to a suspicious call from Jensen Dr.  An adult male subject was taken into custody for a local misdemeanor warrant.

Domestic Trouble: Officers responded to the Hospital in regards to a domestic complaint between a 7 month pregnant female and her boyfriend. The male subject was located and arrested for domestic battery.

Citizen Assist: An officer responded to the lobby in reference to a civil matter.

Citizen Dispute: Officers responded to a local neighborhood regarding an ongoing issue between neighbors.  Officer spoke with subject reference derogatory wording on the vehicle.  Parties were advised of laws regarding the issue.

Suspicious Person/Circumstance: An officer spoke with a male individual via the telephone in regards to a suspicious incident at a casino.

Civil Dispute: Officers responded to a Mesa Blvd. residence reference a verbal dispute between two adult individuals and four juveniles. An information report was completed.

March 27:Traffic Accident w/ Damage: Officer responded to a Colleen Ct. address on a property damage accident.  Officer obtained all information and an incident was created.

Lost Property: An officer completed a report of a theft at a casino.Theft from Vehicle: Officer responded to a Riverside Rd. storage facility on an attempted theft from motor vehicle. Photos were taken and a report was generated.

Battery on Person: A male subject on Eagle St. was cited for battery and released with a court date

Suspicious Person/Circumstance: Officers were dispatched to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino to assist a female in locating her adult daughter who she suspected was engaging in drug activity with her boyfriend. Three individuals were involved in the investigation and eventually arrested for use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

Threatening: Officers completed a report regarding threatening text messages sent from a male. The investigation is ongoing.

March 28:

Disorderly Conduct: A male adult was arrested at a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino for disorderly conduct.

Theft from vehicle: Officer responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. resort on a report of theft from vehicle. Statement was obtained a report was generated.Panhandling: An officer responded to a suspicious person panhandling, after an investigation an adult arrest was made for an outstanding warrant.Theft: Officer responded to a report of theft of property which had occurred several months ago. Officer obtained a statement and documentation. Report will be forwarded to ISD.Trespassing: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino for a male who was on property and had been previously trespassed. Security signed a complaint against the individual who left afterwards with no further problems.Wanted person: Detectives arrested a male with an active felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. The male was arrested and transported to the Mesquite Detention Center without incident.Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Officer responded to an E. Mesquite Blvd. local address on a report of Property Damage.  Report was generated.Stolen vehicle: Officers responded to Virgin Valley Elementary School for a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was later discovered abandoned a couple of blocks away. Mesquite Bld. casino’s parking lot, in reference to a motorcycle.  Another officer had already located the stolen motorcycle, which was returned to the owner.Found Property: Motorist turned over damaged bag containing firearm and ammunition found on side of freeway.Controlled Substance Problem: Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Mesa Blvd. Two adult males were arrested for domestic battery, firearm by prohibited person, and possession of controlled substance.March 30:Found Person: Officers responded to a N. Sandhill Blvd. store in reference to a possible missing person.  Officers identified the adult male and conducted a welfare check.Property damage, non-vandalism: Officer responded to a report of a theft from a motor vehicle on Mesa Blvd. Officer took the report and investigation is ongoing.Lost Property: Officer responded to a report of lost property. Citizen advised that a moving company lost four boxes of her property and requests a report for insurance purposes.Truancy: Mesquite Police Officer responded to a Valley View Dr. school reference a truant student. Traffic accident w/o injury: Officers responded to a two vehicle traffic accident at the corner of Pioneer Boulevard and Turtleback Road.Fraud: An officer responded to a local business for a report of a fraud. One adult female was cited for a traffic offense.Suicidal Person: An officer responded to a Bobcat Run residence reference a suicidal person.  The adult female was transported to Mesa View for treatment.Minor possessing/consuming: Officers responded to a park trail, where an adult male was consuming alcohol. After the male was cited and released, he returned to the park, where he was arrested, for committing the same offense.Controlled substance problem: An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver and three passengers were issued citations for possession of marijuana and open containers of alcohol in a vehicle.April 1:Hit & run: Officers were dispatched to a W. Hafen Ln. business, in reference to a hit and run. The driver was located and taken into custody for assault with a deadly weapon, driving under the influence of alcohol, and various traffic offenses.Threatening: An officer completed a report regarding threatening text messages.Lost property: An officer took a report of a lost wallet.Domestic violence w/ weapon: Officers responded to a E. First South St.  in reference to a verbal dispute. Information was gathered and individuals left the area. Wanted person: Officers contacted an adult male who had an active warrant for his arrest. Subject was taken into custody without incident.Controlled substance problem: Officers responded to a business reference a suspicious person. The adult male was identified and arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.Dead Body: Officers responded to a Mesquite Springs Dr. residence regarding a Deceased Person.  Officers secured the scene and the Coroner’s Office was notified.Theft: An officer responded to the theft of a red Diamondback bicycle.Found Property: Officer responded to a Lake View Dr. residence in Mesquite for found property. Upon arrival the Officer was given a BMX style bike grey in color and with red brakes and brake handles. The bike has stickers that read “Thrusher Fusion” The bike was brought to the evidence for safe keeping.Fraud: Officers responded to a local residence in reference to fraudulent chargers. The investigation is ongoing.Trespassing: A male subject was placed under arrest for trespassing on W. Mesquite Blvd. and transported to the detention center and booked on aforementioned charge.Theft: An officer received a report of a stolen cell phone and other items. The investigation is ongoing.Domestic trouble: Officers were called to a W. Mesquite Blvd. hotel for a report of a domestic battery. Upon their arrival they found that a male subject involved in the battery had left the scene before they arrived. A report was taken.
