The Mesquite Nevada Rotary Club has teamed up with the Mesquite Local News to continue celebrating the Christmas season with an annual Christmas Lights contest.
This year entries will be competing for $25 prizes in five different categories: Most Lights, Most Animated, Best Christmas Theme, Best Neighborhood and Best Business.
Everyone is encouraged to participate but must have an application filled out and turned in by 5 p.m. on Dec. 8.
Applications may be found online at www.mesquitenvrotary.org or picked up at either Financial Concepts, 355 W. Mesquite Blvd Suite C-80 (702-346-7025) between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or at Mesquite Local News, 12 W. Mesquite Blvd Suite 109 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Entrants who live in a gated community must make arrangements to have their gates open on Dec. 11 from 5 – 8 p.m. for judging and nightly until 9 p.m. from Dec. 15 – 26 for public viewing of contest winners and entries.
The winners will be published in the Mesquite Local News’ Holiday Special Section on Dec. 15.
