A fundraiser to help Langston Navarro with medical bills was a huge success Saturday morning at Marilyn Redd Park as 50 runners competed in three running events.
“Fifty plus runners registered for the event,” said John Dwyer.
The hope was to raise $3000 overall for the fund raiser. Nine local businesses bought sponsorships for the event. Visibly helping to protect the racers were the Mesquite Police Volunteers and the Mesquite Fire Fighters EMT.
