VVHS boosters Farmers Insurance and Sears Hometown Store made donations to the school during halftime festivities of the Bulldog matchup with Moapa Valley Friday night, Sept. 30 in the Dawg Pound. Local Farmers agent Bill Mitchell presented a check for $2200 and Doug Hall Sears Store representative donated $2000 to the school.
That’s nice the owner of Sears (according to the advertisement I’m looking at on mesquitelocalnews.com) proudly presented $2,000 to Mesquite’s VVHS. Doug, do you think the Beaver Dam Schools, the community you live in, pay taxes for, and represent in the Bishopric, could benefit from that $2,000 as well?
Clarification: the question was suppose to be worded: don’t you think the Beaver Dam Schools could benefit from a $2,000 donation as well?
