It’s been just over a year since Mesquite’s newest authentic Mexican restaurant opened at 325 N. Sandhill Blvd. and they did it in true style.

With live music by Los Aereos Official and DJ Gato, El Coyote Charro celebrated Sept. 23 with plenty of community support. Owner Jaime Arana was pleased by the community’s support over the past year. He has another location in Washington, UT that has been open for four years.

“We wanted to bring authentic Mexican recipes to Mesquite. We don’t change any of the recipes at all and we wanted to bring that to Mesquite,” said Arana. “We’re so happy that we did!”

Patrons are encouraged to check out the restaurant’s menu which includes different specials daily and at prices that are comparable to the portions. Restaurant hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m on Sunda.

“We look forward to serving the community for many years to come,” Arana said.
