Many calls that the Police Department receives are not always included in the blotter, as they are under investigation or a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our PD does do, we are including a weekly roster of stats.

Dec. 20:
Suspicious Person/Circumstance:  Officers responded to a residence regarding suspicious activity which had occurred outside in the street.  Officers could not locate any suspicious persons, but did document some vehicle damage for the complainant, due to their vehicle having been driven into a retaining wall and sustaining very minor damage.
Fraud:  An officer responded to the police department lobby reference fraudulent charges made to a credit card. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.
Lost Property:  Officers took a report for a missing phone. The phone was entered into NCIC as lost or stolen.
Traffic Stop:  During a traffic stop, the Officer identified an adult male with a warrants and he was taken into custody.
Driving Under the Influence:  Officer contacted a male subject reference a traffic violation. Upon investigation of the incident it was discovered the driver was impaired.

Dec. 21:
Theft:  An officer responded to a local golf course in reference to a theft.
Civil Dispute:  Officers were called to a local residence to investigate two people having a heated argument.  Officers investigated the incident and determined it was a non-physical verbal dispute between a husband and a wife.
Suspicious Person/Circumstance:  An officer received a report of a possible theft.
Traffic accident W/O injury:  Officers responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries.  The driver was transported to the hospital for minor injuries and was issued a citation.
Theft:  Officers responded to a local residence for a report of packages taken from their front door.

Dec. 22:
Driving Under the Influence:  Officers responded to a local casino in reference to a possible DUI driver.
Fraud:  An officer responded to the police department lobby reference a fraud. A report was taken.
Lost Property:  An Officer responded to assist a citizen who lost his wallet.  A report was taken.

Dec. 23:
Traffic Accident w/ Damage:  Officer responded to a single vehicle accident. The vehicle was driven into a wall and the driver fled.
Verbal Dispute IP:  Officers responded to a report of a disorderly female at a local casino. The officers contacted the intoxicated female who was very uncooperative and refused to obey commands. The female was arrested for breach of peace.
Theft:  Officers responded to a theft from a local business that occurred over night. Officers were able to gather information for one suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
Parking Problem:  An officer was dispatched to a local street, reference a parking problem on city street. A parking noticed was placed on the vehicle to have it removed within 24 hours.
Keep The Peace:  Officers responded to a call about a civil matter involving the former and current owners of a piece of local real estate.
Theft:  Officers responded reference a report of theft of Christmas lights. There was no offender information available at the time of the report.
Welfare Check:  Officer responded to a report of a missing person. It was determined not to be a missing person and a welfare check was done.
Wanted Person:  Officers arrested a male who had a gross misdemeanor warrant out of North Las Vegas Justice Court.

Dec. 24:
Found Property:  A report was taken reference a found camera. The RP believed the camera may have been stolen. The camera was booked as found property. The owner of the camera is unknown at this time.
Theft:  Mesquite Officers responded to a local residence reference stolen property. Officers gathered information and a description of the property for further investigation.
Vandalism:  Officers responded to a report of vandalism involving a vehicle’s tires. The investigation is ongoing for possible suspects.
Trespassing IP:  Officers responded to a report of trespassing at a local casino. One adult male was cited and released at the request of the casino security.
Theft:  Officer made contact with an adult female regarding retail theft at a local store. Items were recovered and the store elected to review surveillance before pressing charges.

Dec. 25:
Trespassing:  Officers were dispatched to a local casino in reference to a trespass violator.  An adult male subject was later taken into custody for breach of peace and trespassing.
Traffic accident W/O injury:  Mesquite Officers responded to a local roadway reference a traffic accident.  Officers completed the investigation and removed the vehicles from the roadway.

Dec. 26:
Driving under the influence:  An officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to yield from a private drive. One adult male was arrested for DUI, driving without a valid driver’s license, disregard stop sign, and minor consumption of alcohol.
Traffic accident W/O injury:  Officers responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries.  The driver was issued a citation.
Domestic Trouble:  Officers responded to a possible domestic battery incident, an investigation was conducted.
Found Property:  An Officer responded to the high school reference a found bicycle.  The bicycle was taken for safe keeping.
