logoOn behalf of the Mesquite Community and Senior Center we would like to thank everyone that supported our Season’s Greeting Breakfast and Bake Sale.  The event was held on Saturday, Dec 12.

December is a wonderful time of the year where you see generous people do amazing acts of kindness. I would like to thank Phyllis C. Margolis and the wonderful anonymous donor for funding all of the food and items for the bake sale.

Even with all the budget cuts, your contributions have allowed us to maintain the same level of services to the nutrition program.

We are so pleased that the community is so supportive of the breakfasts and all of the other events we offer.  Besides raising money, it gives us all a chance to mingle, meet new friends and just have some fun.

We are so appreciative of every single one of our volunteers. Without them we could not have done such a wonderful job.

Thank you, Jo Anne Smith, Gale Pallisard, Rose Daniele, and the one and only Santa Steve Whitaker from St. George. You are the pillars of this center.

To all the volunteers who donated a baked good, especially Barbara Larsen, we are so grateful. It’s such people like yourself that care for our Community and Senior Center, your support means so much to us.

Our applause goes out to Leora (Head Cook) and Concepcion (Cook) for keeping everything under control in the kitchen.

Once again, a huge thanks to Danielle’s Chocolate and Popcorn for your continuous support.  The Chocolate basket donated to the Senior Center is wonderful and will be raffled Dec. 24 at 10:30 a.m.

See you all next year!
