GriefShare is a special, non-denominational seminar and support group that is led by trained Stephen Ministers. The course is Bible-based and uses a professionally produced video in each session, which introduces important recovery topics for those grieving the loss of a loved one. GriefShare, while a Ministry of the United Methodist Church, is open to all people in the community. The group facilitators understand what you are experiencing and provide a confidential, supportive environment in which you will find comfort and encouragement while you work through this difficult time in your life.
Each GriefShare session includes a video seminar and group discussion. The videos were produced by top experts in grief recovery and include real-life stories of people who have experienced losses like yours. During the small group discussions, you will have the opportunity to interact with others who have also experienced a recent loss. A Grief Share workbook assists you with note-taking, journaling and grief study.
Please join us and we journey from mourning to joy.
