This is our 19th year for the Veterans Day Parade in Mesquite. The Veterans parade is always on the first Saturday in November. This year the first Saturday of November falls on the 7th.

The Veterans Day Parade is planned and organized by the Veterans and residents of Mesquite. On the day of the event, we can always use volunteers to assist with the line-up of the parade.

The day will begin with a Veterans Memorial Service at 8:00 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Park located on Hillside Rd.

At 10:00 a.m. the Veterans Parade will begin starting at N. Willow street and end at Arrowhead street on Mesquite Blvd. The parade is patriotic and the colors are of red, white and blue.

Our Grand Marshall for this year will be Pete Blair of Mesquite. After 24 years of active duty in the Army and four tours, he retired as a Lt. Colonel in 1971.
