Mesquite Fire Rescue will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast and Open House during Fire Prevention Week to promote “Hear the Beep Where You Sleep. Every Bedroom Needs a Working Smoke Alarm!” The event will take place Oct. 10 beginning at 8:00 a.m. and lasting until 10:00 a.m. Through these educational, family-oriented activities, residents can learn more about the importance of having a working smoke alarm in every bedroom.
