3 lbs. beef or pork roast
One 14-oz. can Mexican stewed tomatoes
One 4 oz. or 7 oz. can diced green chilies
1 pkg. brown gravy mix
3 cloves garlic, diced
1 cup wine, white or red
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 Tbs. cumin

Trim fat from roast. Mix all other ingredients and pour over beef. Cook on low I n a crock pot all day or in a low oven until very tender, 2½ or 3 hours. Thicken gravy with flour and water.
