Wednesday’s GAS Club at Falcon Ridge Golf Course was a modified Stableford Format and once again, the finish was as close as it could be.
“These guys are all playing right at their handicap numbers,” Jim Buttler said.
The winning team of Clark Mitchell and Steve Fennimore edged out the second place team of Andrew Yeh and Doug Lund by just a tenth of a stroke. Yeh had to confirm with a final audit. They edged out the third place team by a single stroke.
The Closest to the Pin winners were Lund on hole #2, Buttler on #5 and #17, Mitchell on #8 and Larry Mierisch on hole #14.
There were four skins won for the day. Stan Nickle and Mierisch both took one while Lund took the other two.
