Tickets are still available for the Greater Mesquite Arts Foundation annual fundraising gala Hearts for the Arts set for Feb. 11, 2015. In its fifth year, the annual dinner and auction helps raise money that supports the entire Mesquite Arts community throughout the year.
Featuring a champagne reception beginning at 5 p.m. in the Eureka Casino Resort Town Square, the evening will also include a progressive silent auction, dinner with entertainment, and a live auction. Many of the auction items will be original works of art by Mesquite artists.
Topping off the night, the 2015 Hearts for the Arts Award will be presented to Susan Bennett for her outstanding support of the Arts community in Mesquite.
The Dinner will feature your entrée choice of Lobster, Prime Rib, Filet Mignon, or Salmon. Individual tickets are $60 for any menu item without wine or $75 for any menu item with wine.
One hundred percent of the money raised at the Gala benefits the arts in Mesquite and helps provide a wide range of art programs and events to enrich the community. GMAF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Mesquite Arts Council, Mesquite Toes Tap Team, Virgin Valley Artists Association, Virgin Valley Theatre Group, Mesquite Community Theatre, and the Ms. Senior Mesquite Pageant. GMAF also provides support to the Southern Nevada Symphony Orchestra and the Mesquite Showgirls.
Tickets are available at Have Boutique Will Travel, Danielle’s Chocolates & Popcorn, Mesquite Chamber of Commerce and the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery or by contacting Bunny Wiseman at 801-808-0606.
