For the GAS Club’s Monday, November 10 run, an all-score format kept the players going strong.

Shooting for a par of 140 for the front nine holes, the winning team came in with a total of 134.4 net, winning by eight strokes ahead of three other teams. Andrew Yeh’s three-birdie gross 33 score helped secure the win with his teammates John Johnson, Alex Churchich and Jim Chatlin.

Low net prize, however, went to Ben Bishop for his four-birdie, one three-putt gross 33. His 4 handicap brought him down lower to a 29 net.

“I’m thinking he is about due on the senior tour,” said Jim Buttler. “Hard to win this prize with 13 players shooting in the 30’s.”

Closest to the pin winners were John Johnson on hole #2, Jim Chatlin on hole #5 and Bob Chambers on hole #8, where he and one other golfer barely missed shooting an ace on that hole.

Only one skin was awarded Monday, and that was to John Johnson’s birdie on hole #4. Although there were 20 birdies recorded for the day, Johnson’s was the only one that qualified for a skin.

The next adventure for the GAS Club will be on Wednesday, November 12 at 7:30 a.m. at Falcon Ridge Golf Course.
