From August 26 to September 30, The Virgin Valley Heritage Museum has a display running about the different Highways and Trails that run through Southern Nevada. The display covers The Old Spanish Trail, The Arrowhead Trail and Highway, Highway 91 and Interstate 15.

The exhibit is inspired by the upcoming documentary My Father’s Highway; which premiers at the DocUtah Film Fest on Saturday, September 6.  The following week, My Father’s Highway will also play at “Mesquite’s Best of Fest” at the Redd Hills Cinema.

As part of the exhibit, the Museum has two Mesquite’s Best of Fest passes to give away, courtesy of the Eureka Community Initiative. The passes included access to all the films, the festival kickoff and wrap party.

There are two ways to enter the drawing for the passes: in-person at the museum or online on the Museum’s Facebook page MesquiteNVMuseum.  If you enter online, post on why we should pick you to win the two golden tickets.  Entries due by Friday, September 5 at 4 pm.

For more information about this event and the Museum, find us on Facebook at MesquiteNVMuseum or stop by the Museum at 35 W. Mesquite Blvd.  The Museum is open Tu-Sa 10 am to 4 pm.
