Arrow of Light with Kelton Chamberlain.

A Pack Meeting held August 14, 2014 was a very special event.

Two Webelos, Jaeger Lee and Brody Bingham, received their Arrow of Light.

Kelton Chamberlain, the Valley’s traditional presenter of the award, came dressed in a full feathered, head dress and breast plate. Mr. Chamberlain explained to Jaeger and Brody the importance of the Arrow of Light before presenting them with the symbolic arrows. The Arrow of Light is the highest rank for a Webelo.

Jaeger Lee, Pack 488 of the Mesquite 3rd Ward is the son of Dawn and Charlie Lee. Jaeger is in the 5th grade and is home schooled through the Nevada Virtual Academy.

Brody Bingham, Pack 40 of the Mesquite 1st Ward, is the son of Tammy and Bo Bingham. Brody is in the 6th grade      and attends Hughes Middle School.

The packs are sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Arrow of Light is the only Cub Scout Award they can wear on their Boy Scout uniform.

Now both boys move on to Boy Scouts and work toward earning merit badges and their Eagle.
