The Nevada Department of Veterans Services (NDVS) will hold a free Town Hall meeting for veterans and their families on December 8 at 10 a.m. at Memorial Hall in the Mesquite Veterans Center, 844 Hafen Lane. All veterans in Mesquite and those in surrounding areas who avail themselves of veterans’ services in Mesquite are invited to attend.
Kat Miller, NDVS Director, explained that “There are two purposes to a Town Hall. One is to provide an overview of services the State has to offer veterans. But more importantly, it gives our representatives a chance to meet with local veterans and listen to what they have to say. Their feedback is important to us, and Town Halls such as these give us a perfect opportunity to reach out.”
