Linda Arlene Stageberg Petry passed away on February 17, 2024, in the St. George Regional Hospital. She was born February 11, 1945, in Great Falls, Montana to Truman Curtis Stageberg and Ebba Marie Stadig. She married Vernon Leon Petry in Great Falls on July 27, 1963.
In 1951, Linda’s family moved to Plentywood, Montana where she attended school up to the 10th grade. In 1961 the family moved back to Great Falls where Linda graduated. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and attended many church functions.
Linda is survived by her husband, Vernon, of Mesquite, Nevada; Son, Lance, of Port Angeles, Washington; Grandson, Timothy; sister Julie Heslin of Groveland, California, as well as several cousins, nephews, and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Vivian and Cookie, and brother Truman Jr.
The family would like to thank the St. George Regional Hospital ICU and especially her nurse, Catlin. They would also like to thank friends and family for their love and support.
