Mesquite Fire & Rescue submits the following call statistics for the week of 6/1/15 through 6/7/2015:

  • R-11, T-31 Responded to a two vehicle collision on Sandhill Blvd.  1 person transported to Mesa View for evaluation of what appeared to be minor injuries.


  • E-31, E-11, R-31 Responded to a collision on Interstate 15 involving 2 semi trucks. One had leaked less than 10 gallons of diesel as a result of a ruptured fuel tank.  Area washed and foam blanket applied to prevent fire.  One driver evaluated and refused transport to hospital.


  • E-11, R-31, R-11, MPD, NHP Responded to I-15 mm 120 for a reported single vehicle rollover. Arrived to find a pick up on its side with a male trapped in the vehicle and a female trapped under the vehicle.  Male rapidly extricated from interior.  Airbags utilized to quickly remove female from her entrapment.  She unfortunately had succumbed to her injuries.  Make transported to Mesa View with what appeared to be minor injuries.

Non Transports include: Patient refusals, lift assists, patient deceased at scene, no patient found, no incident found, Incidents handled by other agencies.
