Harold Warren Phoenix passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023 just 20 days before his 79th birthday. Harold was born on May 27, 1944 in Provo Utah to Oliver and Rhoda Nerine Phoenix.

Harold will always be remembered as a hard-working, loving husband and father, who loved playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

He grew up in Orem and married Marian Johns and had 4 daughters: Sheila Phoenix (deceased), Stacy Elton (Don), Lori Ivie, Christie Reynolds (Gregg)

Grandchildren: Melissa Jensen, Brooke Gearheart, Kailey Horsley, Justin Ivie, Nicole Lehman, Alexis Robinson. Great-Grandchildren: Sage Jensen, Aubrey Gearheart, Marley Jensen, Aiden Horsley, and baby Arabelle Gearheart on the way. He was proceeded in death by Sheila Phoenix (daughter), Ted Ivie (Son in Law), and Jordan Jensen (Grandson in Law).

Harold was a skilled carpet layer and later, a glazier who owned his own glass company. He was a veteran who served our country in the Army and was stationed in France and Germany. He loved being in the mountains, hunting elk, deer, bear, bobcat, coyotes, and bison. His other interests included looking for arrowheads in the desert, taking care of his yard, and playing with his grandkids. He loved his 1933 Chevy Coup hot rod, and would enter it at car shows. He was known in Mesquite as the “Hot Rod Cowboy”.

Harold was a proud man that worked hard for his family. He was loved greatly and will be missed always.

Services will be held on Friday, May 12 with a viewing at the Walker Mortuary in Spanish Fork, Utah from 1:00-2:00. Graveside services will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah at 2:30.
