Penny Sue Gilliam
May 6, 1959 – April 4, 2023
Penny Sue Gilliam , 63, passed to the next life on April 4, 2023.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 6, 1959 to David and Deanna Schram.
She married Jack Gilliam in Las Vegas, on November 28, 1998.
The pair moved to Mesquite, Nevada in 2000, opening Checks-N-Mail, Mesquite’s first mailbox and shipping store.
Over the years she has developed many loyal customers that became friends. She often considered them family. According to Penny that included all of Mesquite. She will be greatly missed.
She leaves behind her husband Jack of 24 years and many friends and family members.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Cremation is under the direction of Virgin Valley Mortuary 702-346-6060.
I love you Penny and yes we had are up and downs of our friendship 😭😭😭
May she Rest in peace and please give a hello to your beloved father David, as I recall I was your first customer at your mailbox rental in Las Vegas.
