19th Annual Heart Walk: 8:30 a.m. – noon, Mesquite Recreation Center, 100 W.
Old Mill Road. The 5K (3.2 mile) walk is sponsored by Mesquite Athletics and
Leisure Services along with Mesa View Regional Hospital. Registration begins at
8:30 a.m. and walk starts at 9 a.m. There is no cost to participate and donations
are welcome.
Family Storytime for ages 0-5 years: 10-11 a.m., Mesquite Library, 160 W. 1st. N.
St. Join for stories, songs, rhymes and activities. For children ages 0-5 and their

Blvd. Come out and bring your appetite to experience all that food trucks have to
offer.
Get Smart With Art: 10 – 11:45 a.m. Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery classroom, 15 W.
Mesquite Blvd. Get Smart With Art is a free art program for children ages 8-14.
This month is perspective and sidewalk calk. Creating illusions by instructor Tyler
Roylance.
