Chief MaQuade Chesley said “Proactive police work is so much more than just traffic  stops. Mesquite officers are frequently checking both residential and commercial areas  for criminal activity to keep Mesquite as safe as possible. The dedication and  attentiveness of these officers interrupted this suspect’s criminal activity before other  crimes were committed, and once again helped solve crimes committed both in Mesquite  and Utah.”
