Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.
The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
Giving blood is a simple thing to do, but it can make a big difference in the lives of others. You can make a blood donation to the American Red Cross during their Blood Drive on Wed. Feb. 26 at the Mesquite Library from 10:45 a.m.-3:45 p.m. Give the gift of life, give blood.
