Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. The Mesquite Fire Department received 64 calls this week.

Feb. 9:

Psychiatric: Rescue 11 responded to reports of a psychiatric problem. 1 Patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Breathing: Rescue 11 responded to reports of a breathing problem. 1 patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Feb. 10:

Breathing: Rescue 32 & 11, Engine 31, and Chief 1 & 2 responded to reports of a person having shortness of breath. The patient went into cardiac arrest and was transported to Mesa View ER.

Chest Pain: Rescue 31 and 32 responded to reports of a person having chest pain. The patient was transported to DRMC in Utah.

Feb. 11:

Fire Alarm: Engine 31, Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to a call for a active fire alarm at a residence. All units were cancelled after a authorized cancel from the home owner.

Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to the reports of a person having difficulty breathing. Patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional.

Feb. 12:

MVA with Injury: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to a request for mutual aid from Beaver Dam Littlefield Fire District on a report of a single vehicle accident on I-15 SB; mm 01, AZ. No accident was located.

Psychiatric: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a report of a psyshiatric problem. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Feb. 13:

Sick Person: Rescue 31 responded to a report of a patient needing a ride to St. George for an eye problem. Patient found another ride and cancelled request for EMS.

Cardiac Arrest: Rescue 11 and 32 responded to a report of a Cardiac Arrest. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Hospital.

Feb. 14:

Sick Person: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to reports of a sick person. 1 patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Abdominal Pain: Rescue 11 responded to reports of an abdominal pain. 1 patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Feb. 15:

Diabetic: Rescue 11 and Rescue 12 responded to reports of a diabetic emergency. 1 patient received evaluation and treatment but refused transport. Patient signed Against Medical Advice paperwork.

Heart Problem: Rescue 11 and Rescue 12 responded to reports of a sick person. 1 patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
