The Virgin Valley High School Bulldogs had no answer for the Chaparral H. S. Cowboys long ball Thursday night in the Dawg House. The Cowboys had 8 three’s in the first half to take a 40-26 lead. Bulldog Braden Bingham kept the game close 16-14 in the first period with 10 points. The Bulldogs got within 11 points (30-41) to begin the second half behind four points from senior Will Barnum. Bingham added five points in the period but the Cowboys kept the Dawgs at bay with 5 three-balls to take a 65-42 lead going into the fourth and final period. The Bulldogs outscored the Cowboys 10-3 in the final minutes to make the final score 72-60. Bingham finished with 15 points followed by Ethan Leavitt with 10 points. The   Dawgs finished the season with a 1-11 record in 3A Sunrise League play. Playing their last games for Virgin Valley were seniors Braden Bingham, Koden Tietjen, Booker Wakefield, Ethan Leavitt, Jeremy Perkins and Kristopher Leavitt.
