Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. The Mesquite Fire Department received 56 calls this week.

Feb. 2:
Unconscious: Rescue 32 was onscene assisting Rescue 31 with prior call when another resident became lightheaded and fainted. 1 patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Falls: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to reports of a fall. 1 patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Feb. 3:
MVA with Injury: beaver dam
Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded on a unconscious person. Patient transported to Mesa View Hospital
Feb. 4:
Unconscious: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of an unconscious victim. Patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional for further medical assessment.
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to the reports of a fallen victim. Patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional for further medical exam.
Feb. 5:
Agency Assist: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded as an agency assist to reports of a person having heart problems. Rescue 11 treated the person who declined transport for further evaluation and treatment.
Fire Alarm: Engine 31 and Rescue 31 responded to reports of a fire alarm activation. Engine 31 and Rescue 31 investigated the property and determined a defective smoke detector caused the activation.
Feb. 6:
Hemorrhage: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of person sick with pneumonia at a local nursing home. Patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional for further medical assessment.
Diabetic: Rescue 31 responded to the reports of a possible diabetic issue. Patient was treated but refused transport to the hospital.
Feb. 7:
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Battalion 3 responded to a report of a breathing problem. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Patient Transport: Rescue 33 provided an interfacility patient transport from Mesa View Regional Hospital to University Medical Center Trauma in Las Vegas.
Feb. 8:
Falls: Rescue 11 responded on report of a fall. On scene no injuries were reported or found. Lift assist only.
Special Event: Rescue 32 provided a Special Event Medical Standby for a Motorcycle Desert Race.
