Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. The Mesquite Fire Department received 60 calls this week.

Jan. 26:

Breathing: Rescue 32 and Engine 31 responded to a report of breathing problems. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Hospital.

Chest Pain: Rescue 31 and Engine 11 responded to a report of chest pain. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Hospital.

Jan. 27:

Breathing: Rescue 31 and Battalion 3 responded to reports of a person with difficulty breathing. The patient was transported to I-15 southbound mile maker 75 where Rescue 31 rendezvoused with Medic West ambulance from Las Vegas. Medic West transport patient to Las Vegas.

Unknown Problem: Rescue 11 responded to an unknown problem. While enroute, dispatched informed rescue 11 they could cancel.

Jan. 28:

Patient Transport: Rescue 33 responded to Mesa View Hospital for a transport to Dixie Regional Medical Center.

Convulsions: Rescue 11, Rescue 31, and Engine 31 responded to reports of seizures. One patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Jan. 29:

MVA with Injury: Engine 31 and Rescue 31 responded to I-15 mm 113 for a report of a vehicle

accident. NHP arrived and advised no injuries. Both units returned to service.

Unconscious: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to an unconscious person. One person was transorted to Mesa View Hospital for evaluation.

Jan. 30:

MVA with Injury: Beaver Dam

Chest Pain: Rescue 31 and Rescue 11 responded to reports of a person having chest pain. Rescue 31 treated and transported the patient to Mesa View Regional for further treatment and evaluation.

Jan. 31:

Chest Pain: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a medical. Rescue 32 assisted Rescue 11

with patient care. Patient signed AMA.

Feb. 1:

Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a report of unconsciousness. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Falls: Rescue 11 responded to a report of a fall. One patient was treated but, refused transport to a hospital for further evaluation.
