Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. The Mesquite Fire Department received 52 calls this week.

Jan. 12:
Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Rescue 12 responded to reports of a person who fell and possibly
fainted. Rescue 11 treated and transported the patient to Mesa View Regional for further treatment and evaluation.
Unknown Problem: Rescue 31 responded to an unknown problem. Rescue 31 made contact with person and confirmed medical alarm was accidental push. No patient.
Jan. 13:
Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Rescue 12 responded to reports of a person who fell and possibly
fainted. Rescue 11 treated and transported the patient to Mesa View Regional for further treatment and evaluation.
Unknown Problem: Rescue 31 responded to an unknown problem. Rescue 31 made contact with person and confirmed medical alarm was accidental push. No patient.
Jan. 14:
Agency Assist: Rescue 11 responded to a report of a confused person. Individual was not
confused and declined medical assessment. No treatment or transport required.
MVA with Injury: Engine 31, Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident. Two patients were treated and transported to Mesa View Hospital.
Secured vehicles, and assistance with clean-up.
Jan. 15:
Vehicle Fire: Rescue 31, Rescue 32, and Engine 31 responded to reports of a vehicle fire. Mesquite Fire and Rescue units arrived on scene where a single Bunkerville unit was already onscene. MFR assisted with suppression of the vehicle fire. After the vehicle fire was suppressed, Scene/Vehicle was turned over to Bunkerville units.
Unconscious: Rescue 11 and 32 responded to reports of an unconscious person. crews arrived and found no medical emergency and patient was declining any medical.
Jan. 16:
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to reports of a fall. 1 patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hosptial.
Patient Transport: Rescue 31 responded to Mesa View Regional hospital for a patient transport to Highland Manor
Jan. 17:
Headache: Rescue 31 responded on a person having a headache. Patient transported to Mesa View Hospital.
Sick Person: Rescue 11 and Engine 11 responded to a medical. Engine 11 assisted with patient care. Rescue 11 transported to Mesa View.
Jan. 18:
Inaccessible: Rescue 11 responded to a report of a person with her foot stuck in a tree. Rescue 11 assisted freeing the person from the trunk and there was no injury.
Rescue 11 cleared.
Heart Problem: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to a medical. Engine 31 assisted Rescue 11 with patient care. Rescue 11 transported to Mesa View.
