Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. The Mesquite Fire Department received 74 calls this week.

Jan. 5:
Convulsions: Rescue 31 and Rescue 11 responded to reports of a person in seizure. Rescue 11
treated and transported the patient to Mesa View Regional for further treatment and evaluation.
Sick Person: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to the reports of a sick person. Patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional.
Jan. 6:
Abdominal Pain: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a medical. Rescue 11 assumed all patient care and transported patient to Mesa View.
Breathing: Rescue 31 and Rescue 11 responded to reports of a person having difficulty breathing. Rescue 11 treated and transported the patient to Mesa View Regional for further treatment and evaluation.
Jan. 7:
Convulsions: Rescue 32 and Battalion 3 responded to a report of Convulsions. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Heart Problem: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to a report of a Heart Problem. One patient was assessed and treated, but against medical advice, patient refused transport to a hospital.
Jan. 8:
Falls: Rescue 32 responded to a report of a person falling. On scene no injuries were found or reported. Lift assist only.
Patient Transport: Rescue 33 provided an interfacility patient transport from Mesa View Regional Hospital to Seven Hills Hospital in Las Vegas.
Jan. 9:
Trauma: Rescues 11 and 32 responded to a report of a traumatic injury. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Cardiac Arrest: Rescue 31 and recue 32 were dispatched out for a cardiac arrest. Person was found to be expired.
Jan. 10:
Psychiatric: Rescue 31 responded to a report of a Psychiatric problem. Canceled by Mesquite Police Department, prior to arrival.
Chest Pain: Rescues 11 and 32 responded to a report of Chest Pain. On patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Jan. 11:
Cardiac Arrest: Rescue 31, 32 and 11 responded to reports of cardiac arrest. 1 patient was deceased upon arrival of EMS.
Unconscious: Rescue 11 responded reports of an unconscious person. Patient refused medical transport and signed against medical advice.
