Other Available Pets:

 CATS:

All Beamer wants for Christmas is a wonderful new family. Our sweet Beamer is still patiently waiting for his new forever family. He is such a good boy.  We are hoping he will find that special family soon.  Beamer is a five year old orange tabby.  Beamer is a very friendly guy, loves belly rubs and will come to greet you in his foster home. Beamer is the most loving cat and would be fine in a home with another calm cat. Beamer would be good for an individual or nice couple who want a loving companion.   He is neutered and current on his vaccines. If you would love a friendly orange cat, apply to adopt Beamer at wecareforanimals.org.

Cal is a quiet, mild mannered 4 year old tabby cat.  He lived with an elderly woman so would do best in a quieter home.  Cal enjoys sitting on the cat tree and watching the world go by.   He is a sweet boy and does not bother anyone.  He just wants a space to sit back and enjoy the scenery.  Once he becomes comfortable in a household he will want to hang around with you for a nice brushing or petting.

Butterfly is about 12 ½ years old.  Her front paws are declawed.  Butterfly is current on vaccines and is spayed.  Butterfly lived with three dogs and they all got along well.  She would do best with a family without small children.  Butterfly is in good health.  Her human mom passed and she would love to have a new forever loving family.

DOGS:

Ricky came from the same home with Theodore and Harry when one of their owners passed and the other couldn’t care for them any longer. Ricky is a friendly little guy who is a pro at using the dog door. He loves walks and does well riding in a vehicle. Ricky is fine with other small compatible dogs. Ricky is a cuddle buddy who will gladly share your bed or settle in his own bed.
Ricky is neutered, current on his vaccines, microchipped and just had a dental. His bloodwork is fine. Ricky is 8.5 years but he really doesn’t act his age. He weighs approximately 10 lbs. He has a very cute underbite.

Theodore (Theo) is a 3 year old Chihuahua mix, a shy little guy initially, but once he warms up to new people and surroundings, he is a happy camper. Theodore came to us when one of his owners passed and the other person could no longer care for him.  Theodore loves to be a cuddle buddy, is house trained, does not mark indoors, enjoys walks and rides well in a vehicle. Theodore is a little under 18 lbs and is on a diet and exercise program to lose 6 lbs. He appreciates a quiet home environment and is fine with other small compatible dogs. He is an easy going little dog. Theodore is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and has received a dental.

SPAY/NEUTER

WCFA offers a wonderful low-cost/free opportunity to spay/neuter your pets to prevent accidental litters and keep your pet happy and healthy. We will always alter feral cats to be released back in their environment.  Our target areas are Mesquite, Bunkerville and the Arizona Strip.  Spay/Neuter Assistance Applications are available at Mesquite Veterinary Clinic located at 371 Riverside Road and Virgin Valley Veterinary Hospital at 660 Hardy Way.  You may also call WCFA at 702-346-3326 to leave a message or visit wecareforanimals.org to contact us by email.  Half of all litters born in the U.S. are accidents that overburden shelters and rescues. PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU NEED HELP WITH SPAY/NEUTER.
